Who: Girls and Young Women ages 13-18
What: The girl led action committee develops a “Call to Action Project” (CAP) that is entirely created by them and implemented in their own schools/communities. This CAP will focus on combatting injustices and unfair practices within their schools and/or communities by addressing the shared risk and protective factors associated with gender-based violence. Girls will also work with a life coach, clinicians and other holistic practitioners to develop a wellness practice and much more!
Where: In-Person at Timbuk2 Academy & Virtually(Trenton, New Jersey)
Why: Develop girls into being "Change Agents" in their communities. Research uses the development of leadership programs to identify and examine the correlation between girls leadership as a strategy to reduce the likelihood of sexual violence against girls.
Participants Earn Stipends minimum $400
